The constraint
The system running bookings, sites and corporate clients was twenty years old. Every change was slow and risky, and the network was growing faster than the software. The system had to stay in service for the whole duration of the work.
The intervention
We built a distributed platform on AWS from scratch: Laravel and Node for the services, Vue for the interfaces, Redis queues for background work. Test-driven development and continuous releases, with the old system switched off one domain at a time.
What changed
Today the platform serves over 400 corporate clients. We wrote more than 80% of the code in production, and the HR platform responds 60% faster than the previous system.
