Do we really need Kubernetes?+

Not always. We use it when the number of services, load and need for repeatable releases justify it. For simpler systems a smaller infrastructure costs less to run and to understand.

Can you migrate without stopping the service?+

Yes, when it is planned in phases: new environment in parallel, gradual cutover, rollback ready before the deploy. We rebuilt the infrastructure of a loyalty platform while it stayed on.

What happens to the infrastructure after go-live?+

It is described as code, so it is reproducible and tracked. We stay for monitoring, incidents and evolution, or hand everything to your team with the documentation to run it.
